Welcome to the Descending Dove homepage!  To a world gone bad, we want to offer hope and truth.  It is our desire to pierce the great darkness that is currently covering the earth with the light of the truth.  Truth can stand on its own and doesn't need us to defend it, only to release it. Lies flee in the presence of truth as darkness flees in the presence of even a small portion of light.  The Kingdom of God is at hand!  It is our hope and desire to see the Kingdom of God come to earth, to set at liberty those in darkness, to preach the good news of the Kingdom, to bind up the wounded, to bless the poor, the hopeless, the widow and the orphan, and to see the prisoner set free!  Irrelevant religion is waning and has had it's day for too long. 

Descending Dove exists to to serve God's kingdom by facilitating the disbursement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world at large, locally or globally, as the Lord leads.  This includes not only preaching or teaching, but also networking, the disbursement of donations to other proven ministries that the Lord directs us to, as well as worthy causes in the advancement of the gospel. This includes feeding the hungry, taking care of the orphan and the widow and doing any program that comes before us that will help to end poverty.  We do believe that it is possible to end poverty in the world today - it is only a matter of coordination and changed hearts.

We believe in close personal interaction and accountability to the donors and maintaining strict accountability. 

 

We currently meet locally at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Saturday night of every month.  See "Who We Are" page for further contact information.  We usually have a covered dish meal followed by worship, prayer, fellowship and intimacy with the Lord, under His leading.
